Tiana Williams, President
Major: Community, Environment, & Development
Hometown: Philadelphia, PA
Biography: Tiana joined the Lion’s Pantry with the goal of improving the organization and herself. She believes this will give her the leadership opportunity she has been waiting for while also supporting a cause she believes in. Food insecurity is an issue that hits close to home for Tiana and she believes it is the responsibility of the university that every student has a meal in their stomach. She hopes to achieve that one day and is very excited to commence on this journey.
Sayre Bradley, Vice President
Hometown: Hughesville, PA
Biography: Sayre joined the Lion’s Pantry in Fall 2016 after learning about it at an involvement fair. She has always been passionate about service and helping others. In high school, Sayre was part of a program that supplied healthy snacks to children in low-income families in her area. She was surprised to learn that there were students struggling with food insecurity at Penn State. She is extremely proud to be part of an amazing organization that helps her fellow Penn State students.
Ann White, Volunteer Coordinator
Major: Biobehavioral Health
Hometown: Chadds Ford, PA
Biography: Ann is currently a junior from Chadds Ford, PA majoring in Biobehavioral Health with intentions of attending medical school after graduation in Spring 2019. She joined The Lion’s Pantry in Fall 2017 because of her interest in helping her fellow students in need. Ann believes that college students who are already under constant stress should not have to worry about where they will be receiving their next meal. She really enjoys working with other students in the organization to help erase food insecurity at Penn State!
Spencer Wallace, Outreach Coordinator
Major: Supply Chain Management
Hometown: West Grove, PA
Biography: Spencer became involved with the Pantry in Spring 2018. He became involved because he realized the amount of good that this this organization can do for our community. He loves the fact that it gives our student body a place to overcome a situation or difficulty in their life.
Taylor Kost, Treasurer
Major: Information Science Technology: Design & Development
Hometown: Drums, PA
Biography: Taylor is currently a sophomore who loves kayaking, giraffes, laughing, and wearing Crocs! She joined the Lion’s Pantry in Spring 2018 after reading about it in a Penn State newsletter. This sparked her interest and she wanted to get involved in any way she could. In high school Taylor participated in clubs that did similar things, so she really wanted to continue her efforts here at Penn State. Taylor loves being a part of the Lion’s Pantry team with such a generous and compassionate group of people who all have the same mission to help others. It surprised her that there are people here struggling with food insecurity but its not surprising that there are so may people trying to aid those in need. The Lion’s Pantry is a great resource and she is proud to be a member who contributes to the efforts of the organization.
Sarah Hohman, Communications
Major: Health Policy and Administration
Hometown: Mansfield, PA
Biography: Sarah became involved with the Pantry in Fall 2018 after discovering the critical service it provides to our Penn State community. She loves meeting new people and finding new ways to fight for causes close to her heart. Sarah is excited for the opportunity to work within a team so passionate about fighting food insecurity and is especially looking forward to sharing the Pantry’s mission with more students and the State College community.
