Who is Nicholas DiPierro?

Why did you decide to join The Lion’s Pantry team?
To work alongside like minded individuals who know what it means to give back and make a difference in the community.

What is your role with The Lion’s Pantry? What are you looking forward to bringing or implementing to The Lion’s Pantry in the upcoming academic year?
My role is to make sure that our finances are utilized as efficiently as possible. I’m looking forward to new fundraising initiatives as well as collaboration with our new staff member, Heidi Gibson.

What is your favorite part about working with The Lion’s Pantry?
I got to see the difference I make in the world every day. The people we serve matter and to see them come into the pantry and walk out feeling relieved is amazing.

What are you most looking forward to for the upcoming academic year with regard to your role with the Pantry?
Fundraising and Alumni networking! I have a feeling these two things will be massive in the upcoming semester.

If you could talk to an incoming student interested in joining The Lion’s Pantry, what would you like them to know about this organization?
This organization will give you hands on exposure to what it means to help someone not just physically, but mentally. You will be a member of one of the most impactful clubs at Penn State and be a part of something much bigger than yourself. It’s amazing.
