What is a Lion’s Pantry Manager? 

A Pantry Manager is someone who commits to running weekly shifts at The Lion’s Pantry and contributes to our organization’s mission, which is “to address and mitigate student food insecurity at the Penn State University Park campus, providing food and other resources directly to students.

Manager Tasks: 

  • Interacting with customers
  • Stocking and organizing shelves
  • Handling inventory
  • Weighing donations
  • Checking expiration dates
  • Packing bagged orders
  • Other tasks promoting the mission
